Hi guys,

I hope you all are keeping well.

Today, I feel inspired to share one of my new year resolutions with you all.

As it is one that is very dear to me, I will be taking time out to really explain it.

SO HERE GOES!!

Evangelism is one thing that I want to do more frequently in the year 2017.

You will find that my personality is set up in a very unique way, in the sense that I am someone who is so eager to share things with others especially when it's something I personally find amazing. (so the list is ongoing from sweets to food).

Now I know some may find this weird, but I have the mentality that I have/need to share my new found love/interest with those around me. (I'm always secretly hoping that everyone will be able to see, perceive and taste things the way I can!)

Anyway, before I start drifting off topic....

The same thing applies to my faith!

I love to share my faith.

In terms of evangelism, I am aware that GOD is big and that one cannot know everything about him. However I am willing to share the little that I do know/have experienced!

Matthew 9:37 says 'the harvest is full but the labourers are few.'. God has called and chosen me to be his representative here on this planet earth! (speaking for myself here!)

I have to step up, and make myself available! He is eager to reach the harvest but he wants to do it through me (his representative).

Therefore, whether or not the harvest is brought in is down to me!

With this in mind, I know that I cannot afford to slack.

I am in no pressure about whether or not people are open to receive what I have to say.

All I intend to do is rely on the holy spirit and not on my emotions or own intelligence.

He will tell me what to say/share, where to go and so on...

Exodus 4:31 talks about the Israelites. They were being oppressed by the Egyptians so basically, you could say 'life had hit them hard'. However, God being so loving sent Moses to tell them he cared! Now this is what I call a SEASONAL WORD!

As Moses made himself available, God gave him a word for his children and as they heard, they bowed down and worshipped.

I believe that the harvest really is ripe but a lot of people are experiencing Exodus 4:31, in the sense that life has hit them hard!

They have a lot of unanswered questions and so God wants us all to be the ones to give them that seasonal word.

God is relying on us and I personally pray that I wont fail him.

I do understand that not everyone may understand this post, and I am more than happy to answer questions.

I would also love to read some of your new year resolutions and so, please do send them to me. (atleast one!!)

Till next time.

Did I hear somebody say 'Testimony Time'?

Well that is what I am going to be doing today.

Today's testimony involves my little sister -  Gracey Babey :)

Before I make a start on my Testimony, I will give you guys a bit of background information.

I accepted this lovely man named Jesus into my life at the age of 16 and since then things have drastically changed for me.

I believe everyone has a past and so, today I will be sharing a bit of mine.

Growing up - from living in Nigeria and moving to the UK - I hated my little sister.

There was this deep hatred and anger I felt towards her.

This is something that I often struggle explaining but I know the feeling was very present in my life.

In the past, I have shared this story/testimony with a few friends and people always seem so shocked!

(This because if you know me and my sister, you will know how inseparable we are!)

Before my encounter with God, I would always hear voices (thinking back at it now, I must have felt like some superhero with powers lol)
I would always hear voices that would instruct (perhaps the right word is 'encourage' lol) me as to what to say or how to react towards my sister.. and lets just say, it was always negative things that I would hear.

At that time in my life, I never really questioned anything as it was 'my norm'...

Fast Forward to Present Date (28th February 2017)

Now today, everything has changed.

I love my sister and  no one and nothing can change that.

Ofcourse, we still have our moments like other sisters around the world lol but I can truly say I have nothing but love for her.

I encourage you all to spend today, the last day in the month of February to share testimonies.

At times, we can easily forget how much we have progressed in life but then the good thing about Testimonies is that they enable you to reflect and see how much change has occurred in your life.

That being said, I look forward to reading all your lovely testimonies (no matter how small, please share them with me!)

Till next time.

Hey guys,

So some of you that follow me on my different social media sites will know that I turned 21 this year!

I remember being about 10 years old and wishing that I could just sleep, wake up and be 21!

HOW TIME REALLY FLIES!!

Todays post will consist of me sharing 21 things that I have personally learnt in this journey of turning 21..

ENJOY! (P.S - this is in no particular order)

  1. Self-pity can be a big time waster.
  2. I ask a lot of questions.
  3. I like making other people happy.
  4. People will always fail you at some point in life - don't take it too personal as they are not God!
  5. Live at peace with yourself and others always.
  6. I like things done a certain way (my way is the best way lol) - God is still working on me in that area.
  7. Consistency is key.
  8. I am an over-thinker.
  9. I can be very defensive.
  10. Maturity does not come with age.
  11. Choose your friends - they either make or break you.
  12. Boldness is a life-essential.
  13. Self-assessments/checks are very important - check yourself before you wreck yourself.
  14. Say NO to being nosy - you will most definitely find things out that may end up leaving you hurt lol.
  15. Never get too busy for God.
  16. When God pushes you to pray, its because he is about to do something and when the devil makes you prayer-less, it is because he is also about to do something.
  17. Money is not everything.
  18. The way the world loves is different from the way God loves - divine/agape love is the best!
  19. The state of your heart is always exposed in your responses and reactions.
  20. Don't wait for anyone! - learn to do things alone!
  21. Every personality/character in a family compliments the family as a whole.
*big sigh*

I really had to think 'deep' for this post!

Please do feel free to ask me questions if you need further explanations on any of the above.

Till next time.

Hey peeps.

So lately, I have been going through a phase that has kept me thinking and processing quite a bit.

I have been thinking about life (my life), education, finance, dreams, visions etc.. I am sure you get the drift lol.

I have so much I want to do and also get involved in but at times my ambitions fail me.

They fail me because, the more I think on things, the more excited I get but then, it comes to a stage where everything comes crashing down.

The best way to explain things is by using the example of a 100m race that has an obstacle at the end to help the runners stop/slow down once they cross the finish line. Everyone starts off geared up, and they stay geared up even after they cross the finish line and that is why the obstacle is needed as it enables to stop.

Now if I am to bring myself into this example. I am like the runner/sprinter in the sense that once I start thinking about my goals and ambitions, I start off with so much enthusiasm and determination but then I hit the obstacle and its like my entire mind of ideas comes crashing down.

With my personality, I ask questions, and I over-think. whilst some may say both qualities have some positive impact/effect on one's life, I would say they can also have a negative effect.

In terms of this predicament that I find myself in, as I continue to ask myself questions and over-think about every vision, goal and ambition that I have, it gets to a point where I no longer have answers to my questions. The more I ponder on that evident fact, the more draining everything becomes until suddenly there is this big CRASH in my head!

The term 'Analysis Paralysis' comes to my mind. It is the idea that if you spend much time thinking about a thing, you will never get it done!

For me, this is where my faith in God kicks in.

I have come to realise that God will never really give you the full picture of life and so there will always be questions.

However, this is where faith (meaning that you have peace even when you do not have all the answer) kicks in.

In times like this, I am reminded of Romans8:28, which talks about how God will always cause things to work out for the good of his children.

Therefore, I may not have the answers to all of my unending questions but I know God is in control.

I may not understand but the key thing is remembering that God will cause ALL THINGS to work out for my good.

Wish me all the best in my journey of faith (trusting God with my life).

Till next time.

Hey lovelies,

Matthew 6:33 is a verse in the bible that I along with many other Christians are very familiar with but as of last week, I received a new revelation from God and yes, you guessed right, I am pretty excited  to share it with you all!

I'm a part of my local church choir in Manchester. On the third Monday of every month, the choir department usually holds a 'Praise and Worship' leadership training.

Last weekend, being the 3rd Monday of this month, we had another Praise and Worship leadership training with the choir. It was absolutely fantastic!

My choir leader used the above mentioned bible verse and as he explained it, it was as if a light bulb lit up in my head/heart!

A new revelation from God!

That Bible Verse in summary talks about putting God first IN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES (education, finance, emotions etc etc).

What majority of us forget is that God is a rewarder!

As we prioritize him, he also prioritizes us!

With God, as you put him first, he will most definitely sort everything else that concerns you (this includes your health, emotions and finance ...... oh the list goes on!)

Pretty awesome right?

I don't know about you guys but I would rather receive a reward from God than from anyone else.

So I ENCOURAGE YOU today to dedicate your life to serving God.

Love you guys!

Details of my church (everyone's welcome) - HERE!

Till next time.

Kindly ignore my unfriendly face lol

Hey Guys,

Today, I will be sharing 5 reasons why I love charity shops.

LETS GO!

  1. Price - They 'can be' cheap! "Look good for less" I use the words 'can be' as I know some are expensive but majority of times, this depends on the location.
  2. Unique - I honestly think modern day fashion has lost a lot of its uniqueness. However, with charity shops, things are different. The exploration is unending and it is very rare to find the same thing twice in a Charity Shop.
  3. Supporting Charities - I like shopping and so why not shop and help out where I can? (guilt-free shopping lol)
  4. Less Crowded - Shopping centers can be fun but for people like me, who hate wasting time, it can be very draining and overwhelming. There is always too many people around!!!!
  5. The Brag Bomb - I love the look on people's faces when I tell them how much my outfits cost me!
Outfit Details:
  • Orange Blazer (gift) - New York Laundry Label
  • White Halter-Neck Top - Primark
  • Blue Tartan Skirt - Barnado's (charity shop in Wythenshaw, UK) £1.99
  • Heels - Dorothy Perkins (Discontinued Item)
Well its been fun! A big shout-out to my little sister who did my makeup for the above look! (she's super talented..)
Till next time.

Hi Guys, so after a lot of thought process, I have decided to reveal my face!

Initially, the idea was dismissed as I dd not really see the point of it.

In my opinion, my face has nothing to do with the things I blog about and also, the idea of the 'unkown'/hidden identity was definitely something I wanted to explore!

However, after a lot of feedback from people and a lot of reconsideration, I have changed my mind!

I now understand that at times some people do not like the idea of 'the unknown' and so with the exclusion of my face from my fashion blog posts, some people end up feeling on the edge, leaving them unable to connect with the content of my blog.

Anyway, enough of the boring explanation!

Today, I am writing about something more interesting!

DRUM ROLL PLEASE..

Introducing, 5 interesting facts about myself!

FACT 1.
I love making other people happy. Lets put it this way, 'making other people happy makes me happy'. This is something I have always loved since childhood. I remember being so eager to help my parents find missing items around the house and to help out with chores and that was simply because I had a strong desire to see them happy. However, more recently, I have come to realize the need for balance! Making other people your primary focus is a tasking job and can be very draining and so, I am learning to focus more on making myself happy.

FACT 2.
I love languages. (preferably French and Igbo).
Being fluent in both French and Igbo (native dialect) is simply everything to me lol.
My love for French started off in High School and then on to College. I still try to keep myself updated with the language and I plan on travelling to France very soon!
With the Igbo language, I honestly think it is a beautiful language, I absolutely love the way things sound when it comes to worshiping God. I apologize for the repetition, but 'it is simply beautiful'!

FACT 3.
I am not a fan of pets.
I really do not want to go into detail on this and so I will just be leaving it as that.....

FACT 4.
This fact is a 2 in 1, you are all so very special to me and so I thought I'd add an extra fact!
I am Nigerian and an Igbo girl!
My Igbo name is 'Chinedum' meaning 'God is leading me'.
(Pronounced - 'Chi-ney-doom')
When it came to revealing my Igbo name to people, I remember being so annoyed (the young Chinedum lol). I was annoyed at the fact that everyone seemed to think I was given a males name.
The truth is, I believe God chose that name for me and right now I care less about what other people have to say as the only thing that really matters to me is what God has to say!!!
I LOVE MY NAME! I also believe wholeheartedly that God is indeed leading me.

FACT 5.
I am a middle child!
I am a middle child in a unique way.
Let me explain, so there are 5 Children (incl. me) , and then 2 parents. Everyone together makes 7 because '5+ 2 = 7'.

Now let the Maths sessions begin!!

In my family, when it comes to birthdays, we usually have 2 people in a month but with me,things are different.
Mother + Little Brother - August
2 Sisters - September
Father + Elder Brother - December
Me (The Unique Middle Child) - January

Pretty cool right?

Well those are my 5 interesting facts and I do hope you find them interesting..

Do not forget to share you thoughts and feedback with me.

Till next time.

Hi guys,

This Blogpost is going to be really short, sweet and straight to the point.

I got a word from God earlier on this week and I have a really strong urge to share it with you all.

I see this post as an encouragement post and hopefully (after reading) you will too!

On 20th June 2016 (precise or what lol), God gave me this word:

"Hold on, don't just hold on but hold on tightly."

So for 3 days now, I have been pondering over that very short but powerful sentence.

I never realized that there was a major difference between 'holing on' and 'holding on tightly'.

I MEAN, YOU THINK ABOUT IT!!!

The difference is so clear!

Things got more interesting within those 3 days. I was on the bus to work yesterday and as the bus reached my stop,  I got up and held on to the bars for guidance. I got excited and stood up just a bit too early and as such, I was on my feet for a while. Within no time, I lost my balance...

I lost my balance but things quickly changed when I held on tightly..

I honestly feel like I now have a better understanding of what it means to hold on tightly to something/someone.

When you hold on tightly, more work is required. It really is an intentional thing!

I use the word 'intentional' because you have to reach in to yourself for inner strength.

It really can be a tasking thing to do, but then again it really does bring about a great sense of steadiness.

When we link this to our walk of faith, we realize that God is asking us to hold on tightly to him!

Not just to him but to his promises(all found in the bible)!

It is very unwise to wait for trials and problems before we decide to hold on tightly to God.

Holding on tightly to God should be done on a daily basis..

Believe it or not, it really does build FAITH.

I encourage you all today to hold on to God.

It does not matter how long you think you have been waiting for a response or your breakthrough (so many people have waited longer).

It upsets me to think of the many people that have been on the verge of their breakthroughs and just gave up! They let go!

Please hold on to God. Hold on to him tightly!

Through every storm, discomfort, breakdown.. Whatever it is, you name it!

God bless you all richly and from the depths of my heart, I love you all!

Till next time.

 1. I look up to the mountains - does my help comes from there?

2. My help comes from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth!

3. He will not let you stumble and fall; the one who watches over you will not sleep.

5. The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.

6. The sun will not hurt you by day, nor the moon by night.

7. The Lord keeps you from all evil and preserves your life.

8. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

As you can see, I have a new love for combining scriptures and images.

I do hope this blesses someone today.

Till next time.

Hi Guys,

Lately, I have been playing around with images and bible verses. I was reading Psalm 23 today and I decided to put a little something together for you.

ENJOY.

1. The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need.

2. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.

3. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.

4. Even when I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

5. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You welcome me as a guest, anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.

6. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

Please do not forget to share your thoughts with me!

Till next time.
